JILL:
Vitamins A,D,Eand K are all fat soluble, so they come w toxity risks. The others are water soluble, and so no such thing as too much.
Vitamin D is depleted from foods when freezing and heat cooking them. Often then, vitamin D is added back into some foods after processing.
The dose for puppies is 400IU daily
The dose for adults should not exceeded 1000IU daily. 700IU daily is recommended.
Yet another reason that raw foods trump processed foods.
They’re is a saying among animal professionals, ” there are only 2 kinds of processed pet foods: the ones that have already been recalled, and the ones that will be recalled…” food for thought!
GO RAW!!
XO, Jill
