About

Jill Silver is experienced with every aspect of pet care.  She has over 30 years of experience training horses, cats and dogs, and providing expert husbandry to domestic pets and wildlife.

Jill graduated from the University of Maryland, with a degree in Wildlife Biology, and a minor in Animal Behavior. While attending University, she started an oiled-wildlife rehabilitation program, along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, in Maryland. This program still runs today and has expanded up & down the eastern coast. This program has saved thousands of lives of wildlife, affected by oil spills.

A certified pet nutritionist, animal & dog trainer, pet groomer, and veterinary technician, Jill is experienced in eastern medicine, in addition to western medicine, with a special interest in homeopathy. She continues to apply these skills, rescuing domestic and wild animals, and helping clients pets.

Jill rehabs wildlife, with a specialty in carnivores and omnivores, particularly large cats, and brown bear. She has become certified to safely handle and care for over 75 species of wild animals.

Her passion and mission statement is to work diligently,  to bring animals back to a place of WHOLENESS, both in mind and body.

Jill focuses today, on pet care and wellness. She specializes in rehabbing the over-reactive or “aggressive” dog,  the fearful dog, dogs exhibiting OCD behaviors, and emotionally unbalanced dogs, cats and horses.

Jill provides care through training, wellness visits, and grooming, for shelter and rescue animals, and newly adopted pets, as well as her clients’ pets. She wants to give rescued and adopted pets, the best start in their new home. She also starts new pups, with obedience and skill training, so they may stay in one forever-home.

Jill’s passion extends to her human clients, as well. Her goal is that her human clients get the most out of their relationship with their pets. Jill  wants clients to experience the same profound transformation, joy and connections with animals, that she’s experienced.

Mare Rosie, and her foal Lilly, are (2) of the (10) horses Jill has had the pleasure to call family.
